The UNION is an Elite UCI DH Team and CIC/Non-profit, development program. Forged by Sheffield's own Steel City Media for the love of the sport.

The goal of the UNION downhill mountain bike race team has been and always will be development. Supporting junior racers is also very important to the UNION, due to the lack of opportunities for younger riders to get on bigger, well-supported, UCI accredited teams. For 2023 the UNION welcomes first-year Junior, Christian Hauser to the team along with Antoine Pierron, Lachie Stevens-McNab, Ollie Davis and Frida Ronning.
